DATA CONTROLLER EJSINGHOLM ApS, Nørre Allé 86, st.th., 8000 Aarhus C, VAT no. 36546972 (hereinafter referred to as "Ejsingholm ApS") is responsible for the processing of the personal data we have received about you. EJSINGHOLM'S COMMITMENT Ejsingholm actively works to ensure a high level of protection for personal data. If you have questions about our processing of your data, you are always welcome to contact us at contact@ejsingholm.dk or by phone at +45 71 74 74 60 during our office hours: weekdays 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. PURPOSE AND BASIS We process your data for the following purposes: - Show available rental properties and register them in our administration system. - Forward your contact information to your potential landlord. The legal basis for our processing of your personal data follows from the necessity of fulfilling a contract to which you are a party, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. The legal basis also follows from the legitimate interest assessment rule in Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The legitimate interests justifying the processing are in consideration of enabling your landlord to contact you. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA We process the following categories and types of personal data about you: - General information, including name, email address, phone number, address, and bank details. RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS We disclose or transfer your personal data to the following recipients: - Our data processor, Made This ApS - Your potential landlord TRANSFER TO RECIPIENTS IN THIRD COUNTRIES We do not transfer your personal data to recipients outside the EU and EEA. SOURCE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA Your personal data originates from your own input on our portal, ejsingholm.com. ACTIVE RENTALS Users in our portal with one or more active rental properties linked to their user accounts include the following situations: a. Users whose names are listed on valid lease contracts for our rental properties. b. Users listed as current residents of our rental properties. It is possible to be a resident without being a tenant, and vice versa. RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA There are distinctions between the following situations: a. Users with at least one active rental property. We retain your personal data as long as one or more active rental properties are linked to your user account in our portal. b. Users without active rental properties. If you have not logged in for six months and do not have at least one active rental property linked to your user account in our portal, your personal data will be deleted or anonymized. YOUR RIGHTS Under the GDPR, you have several rights regarding our processing of information about you. If you wish to exercise your rights, please contact us. RIGHT OF ACCESS You have the right to access the information we process about you, as well as a range of additional details. - Right to Rectification: You have the right to have inaccurate information about yourself corrected. - Right to Erasure: In special cases, you have the right to have information about yourself erased before the time for our general deletion occurs. - Right to Restrict Processing: In certain cases, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. If you have the right to restrict processing, we may only process the information – apart from storage – with your consent, for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, to protect a person, or for important public interests. - Right to Object: In certain cases, you have the right to object to our or lawful processing of your personal data. You may also object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes. - Right to Data Portability: You have the right, in certain cases, to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to have this personal data transferred from one data controller to another without hindrance. COMPLAINT TO THE DANISH DATA PROTECTION AGENCY You have the right to file a complaint with Ejsingholm at contact@ejsingholm.com. Furthermore, you have the right to file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency if you are dissatisfied with the way we process your personal data.
